Steelers and Browns Game

Hi Gang!

OMG! Boy did I freeze tonight. It was weird that I had to dig out my skiing gear before it snowed. It was negative 6 when
we got to the stadium. I convinced 5 Steelers fans (Alicia, Tom, Bill, Papa Lutz, Mark, and Mike) to come and watch the
Browns get DESTROYED. I figured it was inevitable, given the Browns' track record.

We lucked out, the Family Zone was not in front of the wind. When I got to the game, I had nothing but I stick of Juicy Fruit
to eat. Needless to say I ate everything I could get my cold icicle-ly fingers on. I downed 2 cups of hot chocolate, bratwurst,
and a chicken finger basket with fries. Funny thing was that while I was eating my fries, little ice crystals were forming in my
ketchup. Later, a mama two rows in front of us had her whole cup of pop freeze. That's just CRAZY-COLD.

There was tension in the air, because the Browns were up the entire game and lots of Steelers fans. In the end, the Browns
actually pulled off the win.

You'll have to forgive my blurry pics, my hands were shaking too much. I did manage to get a pretty cool panorama of the
Browns Stadium.

Go Browns! Sorry Steelers fans.

p.s. There's always next year... hahahahaaa
p.p.s. Will update with Bill's pics.

Star Wars at the Q

Hi Gang

Leah and I started our adventure to see the Royal Philharmonic perform Star Wars songs by heading to the airport to ride
the RTA Rapid. The ride was pretty quick, around 20 minutes. We got to Tower City and went straight to will call to pick up
our tix. After that we went and met Kathleen, Ian, and Nate at Fat Fish Blue. The food was great. I got a shrimp po boy, and
Leah ordered a few appetizers, which turned out to be the biggest meal by accident. Sidenote: The cornbread had corn in
it… a sign that it is good Winking After din din we headed to the Q.

It was PACKED! I was surprised there were Star Wars fans of all ages. Even the two little girls (no older than 11) in front
of us was all into it. Later, I heard their mom mention that they just recently had a Star Wars birthday party that had Jedi
tests hahahaa… AWESOME! The orchestra was amazing. They had a HUGE LED screen to play all the Star Wars clips
from. During intermission all of us when up to the 4th floor to check out the NASA exhibit. It was cool and in the Cavs
practice court. Yes, there is another basketball court in the Q. It was pretty sweet too. Leah and I both made sure to
touch the hoop.

Fun Facts:
+ Star Wars: In Concert is a unique multi-media event featuring music from all six of John Williams' epic Star Wars scores.
+ Narrated live by Anthony Daniels (the actor who portrayed C-3PO in all six films)
+ The production features a full symphony orchestra and choir, accompanied by specially edited footage from the films
displayed on a three-story-tall, high-definition LED super-screen - one of the largest ever put on tour.
+ Accompanying the concert is an exclusive exhibit of Star Wars costumes, props, artifacts, production artwork and
specially created behind-the-scenes videos from the Lucasfilm Archives.

After geeking out at with the exhibits, we headed home. The RTA Rapid was packed. Seems like everybody got off at the
Brookpark exit. Might look into it for Cavs games and stuff. The Rapid was pretty fast and kinda easy to get tickets from
their new machines.

Enjoy the pics and May the Force be with you Winking
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Will definitely go again next year.

Ahhh another RSNA has come and gone. This was my 6th RSNA! Booked it to Chicago the day after Thanksgiving. Of
course going to the airport, it just had to blizzard on the eastside. Luckily I made it to the airport. When we got to Chicago,
we hit the ground running. We did drop-offs and booth setup. The drop-offs went really quickly, so a lot of people had
extra time to work on the main booth. This is the first RSNA that we actually started unpacking products for the main booth
on Friday. We were trucking it. After a hard day's work we hit up Carmine's for some tasty food.

Today was just as smooth as Friday. We set up the rest of the booth and was able to bust out early. We hooked up with
our friends at Laurel Bridge and ate at the Clay Oven. It is a Codonics fav for Indian food. After din din, Jeremy and I had
to high tail it back to the show floor to work on more stuff with Gary. Jeremy and I got back to the hotel a little after midnight.

YAY! First day of RSNA! It felt different. There wasn't as many people and it seemed subdued. The flow was definitely
different. It felt like it was a Thursday and not a Sunday. After the show we went to Sushi Naniwa. Stephen and I bulked
up our order, so that people could try some more rolls.

Flew out of OHare and headed in to work.

It's been fun, see you next year RSNA.
Enjoy the pics

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Gang

Yay! for Thanksgiving! Yesterday we went to Becka and Leah's aunt and uncle's house for some tasty Indian food and
some family time. This afternoon we had dimsum with the fam and checked out the black friday deals. Afterwards Jackie
came home with us and helped Leah and Becka make mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. She had a good time cooking
and watchng movies. Dinner was amazing and filling.

Gobble Gobble... Happy Thanksgiving!

Week Update: Food Show, House, Wine Tasting, Cavs Game

Sorry Gang... Been super swamped at work, so I haven't been able to sit down and just update the site. Below is a quick
run down of what all has been going on.

Nov-14 (House Album Update): The morning before the food show, we had a visitor. It was a fox! It was just lying by the
pond just soaking up the sun.

Nov-14 (New FabFoodShow Album): We (Alicia, Tom, Leah, Becka, and I) went to the Fabulous Food Show at the I-X Center.
It was AWESOME! We got to see a whole bunch of celebrity chefs and got to sit in on Iron Chef Michael Symon's food theater.
There were a lot of tasty samples to be had. The best part is ALL the food is LOCAL. YAY OHIO! Afterward we hit up road house
for some grub.

Nov-17 (No album yet... pending Nate's post processing): We (Kathleen, Nate, Bill, Becka, and I) went to Lockkeeper's for
a wine tasting. They did a wine pairing with wine from Italy. It was fun and the food was great. My favs were the pheasant with
pistaccio stuffing (like a mini Thanksgiving dinner), and the filet.

Nov-21 (New Cavs Game Album): Becka and I bought tickets from Ross for the 76ers/Cavs game. We had a good time
watching the Cavs kick butt and munching on chicken nachos and Lola fries (Yes... the fries from Michael Symon Rest.).

Enjoy the new albums.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Everything should start to settle down after Thanksgiving.

Corn Maze = aMAZING

Early this morning, I woke up early to hit up Walmart for they pre-black Friday sale. They were selling an Xbox360 Arcade
for regular price, but you got a $100 Walmart card. And when I trade in my busted Xbox, it will have only costed me $20
for a new Xbox.

Anywho this day was about an AMAZING HUGE corn maze. Nate, Kathleen, Ian, Bill, and I all hiked it up to Hiram to
check out a corn maze. We had a fun time hiking around the corn. We did get stuck at check point 12, becuase some
kid ripped it out of the gorund and hid it. Luckily for us, Nate found it tucked away in the corner. After the maze, we hit up
a local joint called The Deck. It was pretty good. On the outside it looks like a total dive, but on the inside it was nice and
clean. The high point of The Deck as the Lobster Claw game.

Enjoy the pics

Mini-Update: Cavs Game and Jenna Surprise Albums

Hi Gang

Just a quick update.

Nov-3: Went with Stephen and his crew to the Cavs game. It was nice catching a Cavs game. They looked good. Hope
they can keep it up for the rest of the season. We also got burgers at Michael Symon's new burger place in the Q. It was
tasty. I got the one with fried bologna and Lola fries Mmmmmm and Go CAVS!

Nov-5: Jenna sent a surprise package to Becka and Leah. All of Jenna's kids worte Leah thank you letters for the leaves
that she sent them. They were all really sweet... and misspelled Winking LOL! And Becka for some UofA gear.

did not disappoint. We ate tons of different sausages and fresh sourcrout. After we filled our bellies full of meat, we got
dessert for Lisa and Joe's place. We chilled at there place for a little and played with Fat Princess and ate dessert. YUM!

Inbetween BDays!

Yesterday while Becka was at class Leah and I made a top secret cake for Becka and Pete for their inbetween BDays. We
decided to do a scary cake with a cool web on it. Today Becka got her present from Sofiya and Mike in the mail. And
Becka, Leah, and I got together with Donna Sue and Pete to celebrated Becka and Pete's birthdays. We got a ton of hot
tasty Indian food. After dinner we did presents. Pete for some cool nerd toys, including a signed print from xkcd. Becka
got fancy nail polish and some tasty treats. Then we did the top secret surprise cake. Everybody liked the spider and
the cool decorations on the side the cakes.

Updated "Becka BDay Misc" Album... Enjoy
-Garvin (^_^)

Happy Birthday Becka!!!

Becka got Sofiya and Mike's BDay card in the mail. We kept it low key and watched Ocean's 13 (which completes the
trilogy in 2 days) and did presents. Becka got a jacket from Banana Republic, haunted ginger bread house kit, wireless
mini mouse, PJs, dessert erasers, Hello Kitty Pez dispenser, and a venus fly trap kit.

Updated the "Becka BDay Misc" Album.. enjoy.
-Garvin (^_^)

TurkeyZilla Sandwich

Yay! New Category! "Food News". Anywho... we made turkey sandwiches during Becka's movie night, but I had vision of
a HUGE turkey sandwich with all the fixins for a Thanksgiving dinner. Mmmmm. Hence the birth of the TurkeyZilla

1) Bake turkey wing for 15 minutes @ 400
2) Pull the meat off the wing
3) Two toasted slices of Leah's sourdough bread
4) Top one slice of toast with fresh provolone cheese, turkey meat, and gravy
5) Top other slice of toast with mashed potatoes and gravy (Oh yeah you heard what I said)
6) Put the two halves together and have a good time

Enjoy the album... the pics are also in the Becka BDay Misc Album too.
-Garvin (^_^)

Becka's BDay Continue

Becka's BDay weekend continues with #1Pho with family and a relaxing day of movies and lounging around. I started a
Becka BDay Misc. Album to store all the random BDay pics this week. Jackie and Kelvin picked out a present for Becka at
McDonald's. They each chose their favorite Happy-Meal Toys... Awwww Winking Then we made turkey sandwiches (I made the
Ultimate Turkey Sandwich.... reference blog above), watched Oceans Eleven/Twelve and had some cake.

Becka and Kathleen BDay Dinner

We went to Maggiano's to celebrate Becka and Kathleen's BDay. Of course... we had a lot of tasty food. After dinner
we tired to walk it off in the mall.

Ugg still full. Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Yes.. Becka has a new haircut.

Jaun and Kat's Wedding!

The flight was pretty standard. 2 hours to Houston… got some ribs at my favorite BBQ place in the airport, and then another
2 hours to Tucson. I got pretty far with the new Mario and Luigi game. Emily, Hagan, and Becka, picked me up. I pretty
much passed out at Em's place. The morning of the wedding, Becka and I celebrated Sweetest Day… already made a
separate album for that.

In the morning, We (Karina, Becka, and I) hit up The Good Egg for breakfast. I had an awesome bfast burrito called the Hot
Juan. It had chorizo and jalapenos. After that we headed off to the salon. We met up with Mama Shaffer there and went
looking for champagne for Juan and Kat's bed room. We found a place called Bevmo! The place rocked. I found a cool
little bottle of sake where the lid doubles over as sake cup too… AMAZING! I hope it tastes good… want to buy more little
bottles. After the BevMo run Mama S. and I went to check into the hotel, while Becka and Karina went to Juan's to get

After a quick nap… Mama S. and I headed to the Z Mansion to accomplish my first mission. I had to dress up the birds on
the fountain with a vail and a min i tux. Once I found some floral tape it was smooth sailing. The costumes came from a
party store which were meant for champagne glasses Winking The wedding went off without a hitch. It was super short (<20
minutes) and done by Juan and Kat's friends. The food spread was nice. They set up 3 serving stations (pasta, chicken
teriyaki, carne asada). The food was very good. I loved the carne asada. During the wedding we left to Jaun and Kat's
place to decorate their bed room. We changed the bed spread, put up 103 candles around the room, and to top it off we
sprinkled roses all over the place.

I was good to see Becka's AZ friends again.
Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. More pics to come when Becka comes back in town tomorrow.

Juan and Kat Wedding

Coming Soon...

Happy Sweetest Day!

Yay! It's that time of the year again... Happy Valentines Day!... wait what?!?! It's not Valentines Day... It's that other day of
the year where cards stores make up a holiday Winking I degress. Got to do Sweetest Day in Tucson this year. Oh by the way
It IS HOT in AZ! I was surprised... this was the first time Becka remembered it was Sweetest Day! I got her a flower
pendant from Swarovski, which should count as a Sweetest Day-Birthday-Christmas present... Yeah ouch. Any who...
Becka got me a nice Sweetest Day card and a baby Snoopy.

Enjoy the pics.

Lovely Lola!

Ahh back to regular old blogs, no more micro-blogs. We (Nate, Kathleen, Alicia, Bill, Leah, Becka, and I) hit up Lola last
night. We had an AMAZING time. The food was really good. For those who don't know. Lola is a restaurant owned by
Iron Chef Michael Symon (the bald guy with the soul patch). His known specialty is bacon mmmmmm.

What we ate....
Beef Cheek Pierogi- wild mushrooms, horseradish creme fraiche
Crispy Bone Marrow- Bone marrow with various accompaniments.
Today's Charcuterie- Pickled vegetables, crostini, mustard

magret breast, green beans, charred scallions, almonds, "romesco" sauce
Smoked Berkshire Pork Chop- chiles, cheesy polenta, bbq onions
Roasted Chicken- wild mushrooms, baby carrots, confit
Lamb- sausage, rib chop, sweetbreads, fennel, arugula, pinenuts
Beef Hanger Steak- pickle sauce, chiles, lola fries

Pear & Walnut Backed Alaska-
oregonzola blue cheese, brown sugar meringue, roasted concord grapes
Coconut Carmel Bavarian- chocolate cake, toasted pecans, fresh cherries
6.A.M. Special- fresh toast, maple-bacon ice cream, caramelized apple

The appetizers were a great way to start our adventure at Lola's. The restaurant was known for their bone marrow. The
marrow was a first for me. It was exactly like foie gras, which I LOVE. You spread the marrow on your bread like butter and
It came with some salt, salsa verde, and onion jam. The smoked duck and lamb was amazing too. The entrees were good
as well. Sidenote, the sweetbread was the best part of the lamb dish. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and had a hint
of heat. The Lola fries were lightly salted and had a hint of rosemary on them, very tasty. Will need to start adding rosemary
to my fries, YUM. Of course dessert hit the spot. My fav was the 6A.M. Special. It was breakfast in a dessert form factor. If
anything.. might need to stop back just for dessert. Afterwards, we hit up Malley's for a light night snack.

We had a great time eating some amazing food. Can't wait for the next place we all eat at (foreshadowing).

Enjoy the tasty pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Might be a good place to stop by before Cavs games Winking

Mike's Bachelor Party

Hi Gang

Quick write up for Mike's Super-Bachelor's Party! Going to be really busy this week.

Bill and I woke up early and flew to Chicago and then Denver. We met up with Mike and Jeremy at the airport. We checked
into the Hyatt and walked around. By 4:30 we figured we should start standing in line for the Great American Beerfest. The
line was LOOOOOONG! It looked like it wrapped around most of the convention center. The beerfest was from 5:30-10. We
hit a lot of "interesting" ones, from a salmon ale to a pumpkin pie one. After an evening of drinking and FOUR BATHROOM
BREAKS… yes it was needed (it's what an old person must feel), we hit up Chilie's.

We headed out of the city and hit up a very good breakfast place. The thick cut bacon was delicious. We then hiked it up to
Dillon and checked out the nice scenery. After some nice chilling out, we went to Idaho Spring for some ATV-ing. The Quad
Squad people were really cool. We had an AMAZING time. The views were breathtaking. It was a trill going over all the
rocks, zipping between trees, and splashing in puddles. Surprisingly, we all survived (no bruises or cuts) our 2 hour
excursion. We then busted back to Denver to get ready for a very nice meal. We ate at the 1515 restaurant, and just like
the ATV-ing it was also breathtaking and amazing. We did the 5 course meal were the chef pick what you eat. Of course
we bumped it up and had the wine pairing as well. Each dish was just mouth watering. It is EASILY on my top 5 places to
eat. The pork cheek and the New York strip was done to perfection. The meal rocked my world hard enough that I will
actually write a positive review on opentable.com.

This was our cool down day. We had a great breakfast at Le Peep and chilled out at the airport. Bill and I flew to Kansas
City, St Louis, and then to Cleveland.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

This week is going to be soooo long. Just a preview... We've got a Blink-182 concert, Mike and Sofiya's Wedding Rehersal
and dinner, and then the Wedding. Should be fun. Watch out for lots of pics.

Juan Bachelor Party

Pittsburgh Recruiting

Just got back from the Gulf Coast... and I hit the road to check out Carnagie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh
for some hot recruiting action. I won't talk to much... but the kids were were pretty impressive. I know my table looks a bit
sparce, but I (and a few others) thought it was a little casualy networking meeting. When I got a table, I took everything out
of my folder and tried to cover as much as the table as I could.... not too bad for last minute. After the event, I did a quick
run to get a layout of the area. I ran past the botantical garden and ended up at Schenley Park. There were having a jazz
festival there. I got bubble tea as a Chinese-Sushi stand?!?! Yeah I know a Chiense-Sushi stand at a park that's
AWESOME!!!! Afterwards, I got some take out congee at a little Asian restaurant. Got a meeting at Pitt tomorrow and back
in the office.

Enjoy the pics

Recap: Gulf Coast Vacation

Sept-4th: Becka and I busted out of Codonics at 5 and met up with Gary and Teresa in Atlanta. We flew together to
Pensacola. After we landed we drove and hour and a half to Gulf Shores AL. Joe and Lisa had already set up camp with
tasty goodies already.

Sept-5th: First full day in AL we leave for New Orleans?!?! We drove through Mississippi and hit the tip of Louisiana. The
drive was around 3 hours to get fried chicken at Willie Mae's. The restaurant was featured on the Food Network and there
were tons of people waiting outside to get in. We go the last table of the day. Mmm it was good. The rest of the day we
hung out in New Orleans and checked Bourbon St. and the French Quarter. we got some tasty beignets. The girls went
shopping and the guys went to Harrah's Casino to gamble a little. I won +400 bucks on the roulette Happy.

Sept-6th: We actually stayed in Gulf Shores today. The day started off with Joe make his spam hash... Mmm spam…
and we had mimosas. Gary and I grew on spam sandwiches back in the day. We then hung out onto beach and had a
sand castle contest... it was a draw. The we buried each other in the sand and made creatures from the head. Joe was
a mermaid, Gary was a octopus, and I was a butterfly. To finish off the night, we ate at Hazels buffet where everything
was fried, but tasty.

Sept-7th: Happy Labor Day! More beach time in the morning. Then we did the Original Oyster House for lunch. Then we
shopped till we dropped at the outlet mall... Mmmm labor day sales! We had dinner at Gulf Shores Steamers, a place that
didn't have any fried food, FINALLY!!! Then we watched Enchanted.

Sept-8th: Had crepes, spam sandwiches, and mimosas, while we watch The Price is Right... Now we're on Vacation Winking
We went to the Wharf, a shopping area, and dropped the girls off at Aveda for their spa day. We, the guys, went to watch a
movie, Extract. Afterwards, we took a sunset dolphin cruise. It was fun, we saw a hand full of dolphins and caught a
beautiful sunset. For dinner we went back to The Original Oyster House.

Sept-9th: Joe and Lisa left early in the morning to visit their relatives in the morning. We (Gary, Teresa, Becka, and I) hung
out on the beach on last time, before we would head to Pensacola beach. On out way out we hit Lambert's Cafe for their
famous throwed rolls, where they throw their rolls at you. The drive wasn't too bad, about an hour and a half to Pensacola
hung out on the beach and ate at Hemingway's.

Sept-10th: We hit up the beach in the morning and dropped off Gary and Teresa at the airport. Becka and I ate and had
fun drinks at Crabs. The place was nice... wish we could have taken Gary and Teresa. Then we did more hanging out on
the beach. For dinner we ate at H2O and had sushi. To top off the night, we watched oceans 13 in bed.

Sept-11th: We did a quick hour on the beach and headed home. We had some fried chicken on Atlanta and arrived in
CLE around 8ish.

The vacation was exactly was the doctor ordered. It was nice to get away for a little bit and chill. I can tell you that I wrote
ONLY 1 work email.. and it was only 2 sentences. Will definitely need to pen in more vacations down the road. I know
Gary threw out Italy and I threw out any place to ski... soooo we'll see what we hit up next. Can't wait!

Today was our second class at Jo Ann Fabric. We got to actually decorate a cake today. We worked on
technique and made a rainbow cake. Becka's cake says "YAY!" on it and has a yellow border around the
bottom. My cake says "Eat Me" and is has a mixed pastel color border around it.

We brought the cakes in for Codonics to eat the day after Winking

Enjoy the tasty pics. Two more classes left.

Alicia Car Trouble

Alicia's car decided to turn itself off while on the highway. Luckily for her, she was an exit away from her
apartment. It took her 45 minutes trek it back to her place and give me a buzz. We all waited for the tow

Enjoy the sad pics.

Summer BBQ

Yay! Mike's in town... so we all got together and had a little BBQ. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, and teriyaki beef. Mmmmm.
The weather cleared up and it turned out to be a super-nice day. When Mike and Sofiya left, we played 1 vs. 100 on Xbox
Live till the wee hours of the night. We ended up hooking up Bill's and Leah's Xboxes down stairs too, so that we could
increase our chances of getting in the mob. Unfortunately we didn't make it Sad Oh well it was fun.

Enjoy the pics.

BDay. We all had fun time demolishing the ultimate sundae. For dinner we snacked on bar food at FatHead (a new place
we've been dying to check out). It was pretty good. Wish I was more hungry.

Enjoy the "Sweet" pics

Fun day at Put-In-Bay. We actually came in on Friday night, so we'd have a full day at the bay. Yes, the first thing we did
when we go off the boat was to eat at Patio Chicken. Mmmmm. We were lucky, the weather was nasty in the morning, but
it ended up clearing up.We did the touristy stuff today. We did the cave, winery, and monument thingy. We had a tastey
dinner at The Crew's Nest. The ride back on the Jet Express was interesting. It was pretty bumpy all the way back to shore.

Enjoy the fun pics.

4th of July Chicago Road Trip

Long trip.... going to break it down in outline form.

+ Right after work we hit the road.
+ Got to Chicago around 11pm.

+ Woke up had a big breakfast at the hotel.
+ Went to the Sears Town (aka Willis Tower) and checked out the new glass floor (just opened a few weeks ago).
+ Walk through Taste of Chicago.
+ Went to the Shedd Aquarium and saw lots of sea creatures.
+ Ate a Chicago-style hotdog. It's got mustard, relish, peppers, tomatoes, and onions. Mmmm.
+ Waited along the river for the fireworks. Apparently the 4th of July fireworks were on the 3rd.
+ The fireworks were really good.

+ Shop till you drop. Hit up the Magnificent Mile. There were a lot of fancy shops. I found a Tumi bag that I want.
+ Had dinner at Fogo de Chao. All you can eat Brazilian BBQ. We were all definitely stuffed.
+ Then went to the Navy Pier to watch more fireworks.
+ Met up with Martin and his fam for a bit.

+ For bfast we had my favorite pizza. Giordano's deep dish pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom. We barely
dented it. Jenna and I both had 2 slices and Becka almost finished one.
+ We went to check out Wrigley Field. At first we were just goin to see it, but we figure we might as well catch a game.
+ I got $60 tickets for 20 bucks. Yay!
+ To finish out Chicago experience we went to a place I found called iCream. You get to pick all the ingredients for you're
ice cream, and they make it from scratch right in front of you. They use liquid nitrogen to speed up the process of course.
+ Got home around midnight.

Enjoy all the pics.

Jenna BDay Dinner

Happy Birthday Jenna! We celebrated Jenna's BDay tonight at Shinto's We have tons of sushi and they brought out a
sparkling dessert for Jenna. We did manage to stop off at SpudNuts to check out there doughnuts. We ended up with a
dozen free doughnuts. We topped off the night with some of Jenna's favorite ice cream, rocky road. We got Jenna a trip
to Chicago for her birthday (foreshadowing for upcoming album).

-Garvin (^_^)

Codonics BBQ

Yay Codonics BBQ! Chris is leaving Codonics at the end of summer. He is leaving me his smoker. Sooo we decided to
through a big BBQ for everybody. We did a smoker pork shoulder. It took more then 10 hours! to smoke the entire shoulder.
While we waited for the pork to cook we just got our game on and played a lot of Tiger Woods for the Wii. Everybody had a
good time and walked away with a happy belly.

enjoy the juice pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Teresa's Big Graduation

Sorry Gang for not putting this up sooner. Teresa had her big OSU graduation in the football stadium. Looks like everyone
had a good time. Both Tony and I were out of commission. The whole fam got Teresa a MacBook Pro.... Yes the new one.

Toronto SNM Tradeshow

It's not as kinky as it sounds. The SNM show is the Society for Nuclear Medicine and it was in Toronto. Luckily, I had my
Canada hockey jersey to wear, so I can blend in with the locals... HAHAHAA. This will be a quick post. Wanna eat dinner,
post the new pics, and go to bed soon.

Friday: Left for Toronto with Patti. When we got to Toronto we has a tasty bfast. Mmmm. Then we rushed off to the Metro
Convention center. We finished everything early and busted out around 2-ish. Afterwards we chilled at an Irish restaurant.
Everybody had a long day, so while other were taking a nap a took a quick run to the Chinatown. It was huge and had tons
of tasty foods. We hit up CRUSH and Beir Market for beers and food. I got the "sea bass" and finished half of Nick's
chicken flat bread. Mmmmm.

During my morning run, I twisted my ankle pretty badly and to top it off it was on me to get the configs and set up
done. I was given the all mighty binder and the keys to the booth. In the morning a did my rounds. It just took twice as long,
because I was gimping around and using my rolly bag as a crutch. All of the walking definitely was a bad idea. Luckily the
convention center had an on staff nurse during the show. So I scored some ice and elevated my leg on our push cart. The
nurse was soooo nice, she was your typical grandma, but a nurse.I managed do everything possible by 12-ish and didn't
have anything scheduled till 1:30, so I figured I should hobble my way to the street and get some lunch. Mmmmm sausage.
Later the crew came on over and we finished the rest of the hooks ups. Everybody was hungry so we grabbed some tacos.
This first night of the SNM show is an evening reception. They have appetizers and booze. The apps were good. They
had dimsum... yah i know DIMSUM! Continuing the roller coaster day, the company taht had the booth next too us finally
showed up. And it was a guy that I haven't seen since I graduated Case. Doug was a character. Caught up with him for a
couple minutes. After the show closed at 8pm, we hit up King street for din din. We found a place that had a rooftop patio.
The weather was soo nice and the food was amazing. Mmmmm duck.

Last day in Canada. In the morning when Nick and I went to the drug store to get candy, I picked up a thank you
card and some chocolate for my Grandma Nurse. I even drew a little doggy on the envelope. LOL! she said I looked
handsome in my suit and my mama would be soo happy Laugh (Awww I miss my Grandma Nurse) The day went blazing fast.
I finished everything that I needed to do and busted out. The trip back home was uneventful. Had a corned beef sandwich
at the airport. I did see the 2010 winter Olympics' mascots. Must schedules something for the Olympics next year Winking

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

5th Year Anniversary: PA or Bust!

WOW! Becka and I actually celebrated our anniversary on time this year... who would have thunk it?!?! Well as usual we
made out yearly trek to Pittsburgh to eat at our restaurant, Monterey Bay Fish Grotto (the place of our first date). For
appetizers, we got shrimp cocktail and calimari. If you notice there's a lot of smoke coming out of the shrimp cocktail.
That's because the dish had dry ice around it to keep it chilled. Becka and I ordered the daily specials for out main course
and dessert. For dinner we had scallops wrapped in applewood bacon served with mustard potato salad. For dessert
we split a lemon pound cake with raspberry sauce. Afterwards we walked around. The weather was super nice.

YAY! 4 Love and Anniversaries!
Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Teresa Doctoral Convocation

YAY! Congratulations Teresa! Today we booked it down to Columbus for Teresa's Doctoral Convocation. When we got
there we had 30 minutes to scarf down as much food as we could put down. Mmmmmmm. The food was from Lemon
Grass, the place where the fam had dinner. The food was good. Gary and I got to watch and take pics of Teresa walk
across the circle. Mama, Gary, and I took a ton of pics. We made sure to yell as loud as possible when they called out
Teresa's name. After the convocation, they had a reception. It was a mad house. Tons of people crammed under a tent
trying to get some cheese Winking Everyone had a great time. Afterwards, Becka, Leah, and I had to go to Jeni's for the BEST
ice cream every. My fav flavor is Pistachio Honey Mmmmm. We got back home around 2am and it was definitely easy to
fall asleep.

Enjoy the fun fill pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Will do a mini-update when I get mama's pics. She got pics from their dinner and convocation pics.

Teresa and Gary Honeymoon

Huge album update! Sooo huge I've split them up into two albums. Looks like Teresa and Gary had a great time. They
went to Tahiti and Bora Bora for their honeymoon. If the pics look familiar you've probably seen them on the covers of
magazines like Travel and Leisure (Yes the huts above the water and everything... so jealous). The water looks amazing
and it sounds like they had a BLAST!

Enjoy the awesome pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Cavs Cookout

We had another super impromptu Cavs cookout. We pretty much decided to have a cookout right before seeing UP.
Sidenote... UP is and AMAZING Movie... Great story and awesome animation. Pixar Animation out did themselves this
time. We also rocked a dual screen layout and watched the Pens game on the other TV. Unfortunately both teams lost.
The Cavs will have to wait till next season. At least we got to fill our bellies with Nathans hotdogs and cheese burgers.

Enjoy the tasty pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Gary and Teresa's Love Mobile

Sooo Gary and Teresa come back from their honeymoon and I wanted to do something special for them. I got a ton of
window pant and went to town on Gary's Envoy.

Enjoy Gary and Teresa's Love Mobile
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. It was extra hard to write SETO backwards on the sunroof Winking

Cavs vs Magic Game 5

A must win situation... Leah and I went on a search for Cavs tickets. I was able to get tickets for less than what they were
going for on flashseats.com so SUCCESS! The game was amazing. At first I was a bite nervious when they blew away
their 20+ point lead again. The Cavs were able to pull it together and win by 10+ points. There were a lot of famous
people at the game too... Jay-Z (rap super-star), Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steeler QB), and Alex Rodriguez (Yankee
slugger), just to name a few. We had a great time!

Enjoy the fun filled pics. Go Cavs!
-Garvin (^_^)

Round 2: Cleveland Rib Cook Off

Oh Sweet Mama... more meat. We went to the Cleveland Rib Cook Off today. The food of course was tasty. The weather
turned out to be amazing. We had ribs, lemonade, chips, fries, funnel cake, waffle ice cream, and roasted corn. Mmmmm.
Needless to say we definitely walked away stuffed. PigFoot had the best ribs again and Carolina Rib King were the only
crew with beef ribs.

Enjoy the tasty pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Mission Impossible: Escape from Rochester

Your mission if you choose to take it... Drive to Rochester, pick up U-Haul trailer, move everything to trailer, and haul
everything back in less than a day. Sounds fun huh? Actually it was super-fun. Becka and I Left at 7am for Rochester. We
began packing as soon as we got to Leah's apartment. By 5pm, the U-Haul was jam crammed. We then had dinner at
Good Luck. It was a nice little bistro-like restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh. We shoved off around 9pm. U-Haul
suggests to drive 10 to 15 mphs below typical speeds. The drive was a little bit longer, but I made sure to pound back 4
cups of coffee at Good Luck. I ordered coffee with a french press. Mmmmm.

So when we go back home I realized that I had put the lock on backwards, where the key hole was covered by the bar. So
used a wrench to clamp on the key and bang the top off so that i can cram it between the bar and the keyhole. It's easy to
understand if you check out the pics.

-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. The title is a shout out to Mission Impossible and the Escape From LA movies Winking

Berea Rib Cook Off

The first day of the Berea Rib Cook Off has free admission, so Becka and I decided to get some tasty over priced corn right
after work. Great way to enjoy the great weather. Desperado's by far had the best ribs that we tasted. They were the only
people that had beef ribs.

Enjoy the tasty pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Photobooth Analysis

Upon further analysis... I was wrong we did not cram 14 people in what was meant for 10 people. We
crammed 15!!!

1:Garvin 2:Tony 3:Alicia 4:CK 5:Bill 6:Teresa 7:Papa Seto 8:Leah
9:Lisa 10:Kelvin 11:Gary 12:Jackie 13:Becka 14:Bill 15:Sally

The Day After

Continuing the the weekend of non-stop eating we had dimsum with Gary, Teresa and some of their friends. We
swapped pics later that afternoon. For dinner we had two slabs of sushi. Fun fun!

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

The Gary & Teresa Seto Wedding!

Yay! today is Gary and Teresa's special day... and I had two tasks to do... 1) don't lose the rings 2) don't pass out during the
best man speech. The wedding was nice and the reception was AMAZING! The nicest reception I've been too.
Below the timeline...

Woke up early and made a Panera and coffee run. My Aunt Yim and Uncle Thomas drink a lot of coffee. I purposely didn't
eat anything for avoid any stomaches.

We got ready for the photographer to come over. To make sure I wouldn't lose the rings I taped the bag to my pant pocket.
Gary opened his present from Teresa. He got a couple groom and bride build-a-bears and a really pimp watch.

Off to the church in the CTS.

We got the church ready and helped the florist set up stuff. And in between helping out more family photos. Once all the
prep-work was done we chilled behind the tabernacle with Gary.

False start... After a quick blessing from Father Jetter (yeah I snuck in a pic), it was game time. He took us out, but unfortunately the candles
weren't lit, so we had to walk back hehee. I thought the false start was good. It helped break a LOT of the tension. The
pic below is of us walking back from out false start Winking

Wedding Time! I had the best seat in the house. The maid of honor and I sat one step towards the alter. I did manage to
grab a pic by shooting from the hip. I think every 5 minutes I was checkin my pocket that I still had the rings. The only thing
that we messed up was, everybody (except Gary and Teresa) forgot to bow in front of the alter... oopsies. Father Jette did
a great job!

Time for pics. There was little time for pics. Supposedly there's another wedding right after us. We drilled down the list as
fast as possible. Efficiency was key.

Limo time! Jumped into a stretched Excursion. The Excursion was nice. It was brand new with color changing fiber optics
on the ceiling and along the walls. Enjoy the Pringle cat fight.

First stop art museum. The weather was still holding up, so we first hit up an out door place. Unfortunately, it began to rain
20 minutes in the shoot. Luckily Gary and I went to Golf Galaxy the other day and got some huge umbrellas. We still took
some nice shots with umbrellas.

We get to The Arcade to take some more pics.

Get to the pier for some more pics.

We get to the Marriott and check out the digs and Gary and Teresa's Presidential suite! The suite was out of this world!
Top floor with bar, pool table, dinning room, two flat screens, and a huge bathroom.... oh and I forget there's an AWESOME
view too. WOW! Before the reception we pregamed with pool and beer.

Hors d'oeuvre hour. The food was amazing and were were starving. All we had were snacks and champagne for lunch
while running around taking pics. Joe and I destroyed the food. There were bacon wrapped scollops (Joe had 10 I had 8),
shrimp cocktail (Joe: 8 Me: 3), and beef wellington (Joe: 6 Me: 2). The food was soo good. Oh yeah and more pictures.

Wedding reception time. It was AMAZING! By far the best wedding I've been to. Everyone had a great time! Gary and
Teresa did the cake first, then the tea ceremony, speeches, food, and then dancing. I've been practicing my speech for the
last week and whenever I had free time today. I had written 2.5 speeches and in the end I ended up with the streamlined
one. I got through it with out a hitch. They had a photo booth that they rented out last minute. It ROCKED! More fun than
an amusement park. It was wide and we tried to cram as many people as we could in it. There were attendants to help
out and begin scrapbooking all the pics from the booth. In the super-crammed one you'll notice Alicia's thumbs up in the
background. Also as a sidenote: Mama rocked her hand-painted dress. Super-Cool!. We had fun all all night long.

Of course after the party was the After-Party! A few of us when up to Gary and Teresa's Presidential Suite to keep the
party going. More pool, beer, and hanging out with friends and family.

Enjoy all the albums. Congratulations Teresa and Gary! Live long and prosper (potential ending to my best man speech).
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. There's more pics. Will do mini-updates as they trickle in. YAY!

Wedding Rehearsal/Dinner

A lot happened today so I'm going to take a time line approach to try not to miss anything. Also I've sorted the albums
based on where I got the pics from. Ok here we go time line time...

1:00 pm
Got off work early. Knew it was goin to be a long night... so I took a nap while Becka and Leah were getting ready.

Get to Mama's house, unpack house, and get ready to go to church for rehearsal. Kelvin borrowed my hat.

Meet at the church and go through the dry run. Father Jette was Awesome/Funny as usual. I might admit this is the part
where I start getting nervous. I didn't want to forget anything. Everything thing seems pretty straight forward.

Rehearsal dinner time... the beginning of a NON-STOP food eating weekend. We had a ten course tradition Chinese
wedding dinner. The ten course meal has a special significancy to it. The food list went... roast pork, shark fin soup, fried
crab claws, seafood melody, fish, lobster, crispy chicken, abalone, crab noodles, shrimp rice, fruit, and some sweet pastries.
Everybody walked away stuff. Yay! The Tam family showed up then too. We took a lot of family pics... a foreshadowing of
what's to come. Gary also handed our his groom's man gifts too. We all got pimp watches.

We get home and talked the night way with friends and family. We had a packed house again. Mom, Dad, Gary, Tam
family (4), Lisa, Joe, Leah, Becka, and Me... that makes 12 people... YAY for family!

Joe was snoring soooo loud I couldn't sleep. I had to go down stair and sleep on the couch. Funny thing... I could still
hear him down stairs.

Enjoy all the albums
-Garvin (^_^)

Mother's Day/Tony BDay

Celebrated Mother's Day one day early this year. Met up with Mama and Melinda at Wonton Gourmet... Mmmmm. Mama
got some Swarovski crystal stuff and some flower bulbs that we'll plant for her some other day. We all had a great time
drinking milk tea and stuffing our faces. We also kinda celebrated Tony's BDay by giving Melinda his presents.

Yay! Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday Tony!
Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Mini-Update: House Album

Quick mini-update to House album. There were two ducks hanging out of our house in the morning.

-Garvin (^_^)

Bachelor Bachelorette Parties

The guys had their bachelor party and the girls had their bachelorette tonight. To sum it up lots of drinking, lots of food,
and more drinking. Everybody had a great time! Nuff said...

I will say the restaurant (Rosendales link) the guys ate at was SUPER-NICE. The way I found/chose the place was list
all the restaurants in Columbus and sort by price and start from the top. The food was AMAZING, but the portions were
small. We spent sooo much money they gave us 3 free valet parking vouchers to come back again. And yes we will
come back... we just need to save a little more money and remember the girls next time Winking

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Happy Birthday Rich!

Yay! Rich's Birthday. We all got a card and signed it. Gary even sprung for some pizza... and we all know how much
software engineers love pizza Winking

Happy Birthday Rich!
-Garvin (^_^)

If you can't tell, the card I drew was a mountain bike rider zipping through a rough trail.

Impromptu Cavs BBQ

Riding the wave of the good weather (3 GREAT days in a row!) we've had in Cleveland, we HAD to have a BBQ today.
Sent some txt messages around noon and in a matter of minutes we were gettin some grub at Giant Eagle to grill it up.
While shopping Becka and I took in the Game Stop trade-in offer for a DSi. We had Nathan's hotdogs, smoker sausage,
corn on the cob, potato salad, chip, and apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Mmmmmmm. To finish off the day we threw rocks
in the pond.... Ian's idea Winking

Enjoy the tasty pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

H&R Block Party

When to H&R Block's end of the season party. We had a fun time. The people were nice and the food was good. They
served prime rib and chicken with cream mushroom sauce. The theme was "Deal or No Deal" and they gave funny little
prize. It was nice to see everybody having a good time. H&R Block threw a great for it's employees.

Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Mike Visit = Indians Game

Yay! Mike's in town. We decided to enjoy the nice weather and take an in an Indians game. We had a great time
sitting in the sun and watching the Indians. Gary and Teresa joined us as well. The tix were SUPER-CHEAP... 9 bucks!
Unfortunately, the Indians lost Sad The silver lining was that the Cavs won Winking We also lucked out, Progressive Field had
a fun fireworks show.

Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Jackie BDay Party!!!

Yep that's right... If you've been keeping track, that's THREE BDays in less than a week. That's a lot of cake. (^_^) We
had a lot of fun at Jackie's BDay. It was Hannah Montana themed. Jackie and her friends played musical chairs,
scavenger hunt, and a Hannah Montana word search. Jackie scored a couple DS games, and a Hannah Montana
guitar. Becka even had time to teach her how to play "Mary had a little lamb" before we left.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Bill BDay Party!!!

Yay! another BDay! Happy BDay Bill!!! For Bill's BDay we got everybody together and hit up Gusto! (link) in Little Italy.
We all did pretty well at keeping it a surprise. Gusto! was Great! They had really good food there and the service was
amazing. There was an accordion player that played happy birthday to Bill twice. To top off the night, we had a cake
from Corbo's Mmmmm.

Enjoy the tasty pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Codonics Album Update: Happy BDay Mike Lustig

Happy BDay Mike!!! For Mike's BDay, we (Codonics peeps) got him a cool pizza BDay card and a GBA game. The GBA
game was WarioWare Twisted, a super-fun game were you have to twist and shake the Gameboy to beat the minigames.
To be honest, I forgot to bring a gift bag for Mike's present, so I had to be a little resourceful. I drew a GBA on the envelope,
cut a slit on top (where the cartridge slot would be), and slid the game in the slot Happy . It worked out really well. It looked
pretty cool.

Happy BDay Mike!
Enjoy the pics in the Codonics Album.
-Garvin (^_^)

Teresa's Bridal Shower

We had a great time in Columbus! The bridal shower was at a local wine shop Vino 100. They did a wine tasting that was
paired up with different foods. Yum! Teresa and Gary banked on tons of cool gifts. Afterwards, we all hit up Easton to get
our game on and to have sushi.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Day 5: Dublin Marathon... On your mark... Get set... GO!!!

Nothing like getting a quick run in before your flight. Unfortunately, it was from the car rental to our gate. Below is a quick

+ Drop the car off. Gary and I sprint off to the terminal.
+ Gary sprinted all the way, while I accidentally followed the wrong AZN.
+ Joe meets up at the ticket line, but he thought we took his bag with us. It was still at the car rental place.
+ Gary sprints back to the car rental, while Joe and I wait in line.
+ Gary gets back as they are printing tickets.
+ Go through security.
+ Joe left his bag (yes the same one) at security. We double back a couple yards.
+ Get to customs, but had to fill out form in another room.
+ Get to gate (the finish line) right before boarding.

Great to be back.
-Garvin (^_^)

Day 4: Last Day Sad ... Road Trip!

Last day in Ireland. We hit the road hard today. We drove 3.5 hours to the west coast to the Cliffs of Moher. It was pretty
cool. Amazing view. The drive to the cliff was fun. The twisty roads was fun. I took a panorama of the twistiness that went
up and down the steep hills. Then we drove up the coast to Galway. That was ok. We had some good fish and chips there.
With out last night, we hit up Porterhouse and then the Casino.

Peace out Ireland!.. it's been real.
-Garvin (^_^)

Day 3: Rise and Shine

Since we didn't "officially" use our Dublin Passes yesterday, we decided to jam a lot of stuff together. Today was an early
day. We got up around 6am (1am EST) to get out of the city and hit up Wicklow National Park. We did a little ~3 mile hike.
The views were amazing. After we go back to town we hit the Dublin Pass hard. We went to the Dublin Castle, City Hall,
and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Then we had some tasty dimsum... yeah I know in Dublin. Apparently there is a large population
of AZNs. To top off the night we accidentally found a casino. This casino was super-cool. Everything was automated
(I <3 robots). They had automated roulette tables and blackjack tables that would roll the ball or flip the cards.

Time for some sleep. Long day tomorrow. Driving to the west coast.
-Garvin (^_^)

Day 2: Missed it by that much... Day of bad timing.

Today's theme was "Bad Timing". We slept in till noon today. Granted daylight savings happened last night, so we lost an
hour. We hit the road and went to Blackrock Markets. We found a great place to eat. The market was ok not as much stuff.
We left Blackrock to the Dublin Castle. Unfortunately when we got there they were closing. There were a lot of markets
around so we went shopping. We found the Captain Americas restaurant. It was every comic book nerds dream. They
even had a drink called the Red Skull A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Then when we tried to go to the Lobster Pot, but found out they were
closed. A lot of places started closing around us, even the nice restaurant at the hotel. Eventually, we just ended up at at
the bar in the hotel instead. Then we hit the town for some beer and walking around. To top of the night of "Bad Timing",
we came back to the gelatoria and they closed on us, so we couldn't even get dessert Sad

Enjoy the update

Day 1: No Sleep... Lots of Food and Beer

So the flight was loooooooooong, but we made it to Dublin. The weather is very much like Cleveland cold, windy, and
cloudy. We got a lot stuff done today. First got a nice Irish breakfast. Then we checked into the castle. Yep I said "castle".
No draw bridge or moat though Sad After we filled out belles with breakfast and pastries, we headed off to the Guinness
Storehouse. The Guinness tour was fun, too bad they didn't take us through the actual plant and we were dead tired. At
the top of the Guinness building they have Gravity Bar at the top floor where you're surrounded with windows. I made a
quick panorama of the Gravity Lounge. After Guinness, Joe took a nap while Gary and I worked out. We had dinner at
O'Shea's Merchant for some authentic Irish food. Later we hit a couple pubs from some beer, and music. The night was
still young so we topped off the day with some Chinese food. Surprisingly the food was really good. I foresee them in our
future, especially when we know they don't close until 2am.

In saving off everybody's pics, I quickly realized there was going to be a LOT of pics. So much, that they will not be
manageable/browsable. I have split the albums by who took the pics, so the pics are still in chronological order.

Enjoy the pics

My bad.

p.s. Will definite update again as soon as I'm get back from Ireland.

Matt Visit

When Matt's in town we get our bowl on. We had a yummy dinner at J Alexander's. Then we hit up Freeway Lanes for a
couple games of bowling. Matt almost beat me twice. The first game I had to get a at least 11 pins in the last frame.
Luckily, I got a spare and a few pins. In the last game I had to get 20 pins to tie. Luckily I got a spare and a strike to tie.
Phew! Close call. Funny enough Matt and I tied with 122 and Jocelyn and Becka tied with 71. Weird...

Enjoy the pics.

Jenna Visit

YAY! Jenna was in town this weekend for Becka and Jenna's annual shopping extravaganza. They definitely got their
shop on. We had a great time eating at John Q's and hanging out at a bar downtown.

Enjoy the fun pics

Surprise Gary Keefe BDay

It's been a month or so in the making, but we (Ross, Erica, and I) surprised Gary with a 50th birthday party. We did a
Hawaiian theme. Everybody had a good time. Gary was truly surprised. We got him a nice blu-ray player.

enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. I also included the pics I photoshopped for the roast.

Leah BDay

Happy Birthday Leah! YAY! We had a great time

Joe and Garvin Birthday Weekend

We celebrated a double birthday this weekend, mine and Joe's. We had a good nice dinner at McCormick &
Schmick's. They did mess up the meats, but everything was tasty. Later we battled the night away at Street
Fighter 4.

Yay for Family! and Birthdays!
-Garvin (^_^)

Cleveland Car Show

The Cleveland Car Show was funny. Becka got some time to do some potential preliminary shopping.
There was definitely extra emphasis on fuel efficiency and hybrids. Of course I had plenty of time to drool
over the GMC Acadia and Cadillac CTS Mmmmm.

Enjoy the shiny pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Ski-Spa Weekend

Yay for Skiing. This weekend I took the girls up to New York for a ski-spa weekend. We stayed at the new Seneca Casino,
which was right down the street from Holiday Valley. I dropped Becka and Alicia for their spa appointment, and I hit the
slopes. The skiing was good. I did come back early to get ready for dinner. We made reservations at the casino's steak
house, The Western Door. Wow their food was really good. Alicia even ate a little piece of smoked salmon! The restaurant
brought out a little birthday cupcake at the end of dinner. Before we left, we asked our waitress about a good local breakfast
joint. She admitted that she was biased to Dina's, because she worked there too, but highly recommended the pancakes.
Dina's was super-tasty! After breakfast, Becka and I dropped Alicia at the ski lodge and hit the slopes. We had a fun time.

Enjoy the fun-filled pics.

Garvin BDay

My birthday was pretty low key. Becka and I went to our favorite sushi place, Shinto. Unfortunately I left my
digi cam at Codonics, so we had to use our cell phones. We stuffed our faces with lots of sushi. The beef
sashimi came out in a "cool" (pun intended) leaf shaped ice place.

Enjoy the tasty blurry pics

Happy Valentine's Day <3

Happy Valentine's Day! Yay! Soooo today I surprised Becka with Hello Kitty waffles for breakfast. We had a
great morning and exchanged cards/presents. Later that day Sofiya and Mike stopped over so we can go out
to dinner. We got reservations at Pier W, Mmmmmmmmmm. There were a couple highlights besides the
awesome food and company. We think were going to see a wedding proposal. There was a cute old couple
that sat next to us. Which by the way grandma could eat, she put away a couple lobster tails. Finally, they
needed our table for more guests, so they shuttled us to the bar with a free bottle of champagne, SCORE!
When we got home we celebrated me getting older. Sofiya and Mike got me a super-cool Spyder shirt.
Can't wait to wear it Winking

Happy Valentine's Day!
-Garvin (^_^) XOXO

Flood of 2009

Becka and I were away from our house all weekend with family activities. Unfortunately, our sump pump
decided to poop out, and lightly flooded out basement. My running theory is that that sump pump was
working over time with the warm temperatures melting all the snow around the house and at some point it
just keeled over and pooped out.

I took today off and tried to get everything in order. First was to get pump out the water. I headed over to
Cleveland plumbing to pick up a new sump pump. It took me twice as long together, because apparently
Butternut Rd. is ALSO Lorain Rd. UGGGGGGG! While I was there I picked up a back up battery and a
secondary sump pump that will kick on if the new one dies. After I got the new sump pump up and running,
I headed over to Taylor Rental to rent a blower fan, carpet extractor, and a dehumidifier. Sooo far I have
sucked out 5 buckets of water with the carpet extractor. The basement has been disinfected and smells
clean now. Will continually run blower and the dehumidifier over night.

Booo sad pics.

Lakers v. Cavs

Cavs against the Lakers today. Bought tickets way before the season start. Who know that the Cavs would
be undefeated coming into this game. They were 23-0 at Cleveland. Unfortunately, Kobe and crew were
too much for the Cavs tonight. The Lakers brought and end to the Cavs great streak. We still had fun at the
game. Of course nachos were involved, mmmmmm.

Go Cavs!

Post-Chinese New Year Dinner

Case Career Fair

Went to the to the Case Career Fair for Codonics today. Been helping out lately. Boy! did I feel old when I
stood in the employer check-in line and they ask me if I was there for student check-in Sad On a good note,
they did serve doughnuts and coffee to all the employers in the morning Happy

SuperBowl BBQ (SB^3Q)

Got a jump start on getting ready for the BBQ early in the morning. I had to dig a clear path to the grill. The only
good thing with a lot of snow on the porch, was that I could use it like a refridgerator. I just put all the tins of meat
right into the piles of snow. The BBQ was fun. There was a lot of meat! Mmmmmmm. Everybody brought
something. Bill and Alicia brought over their peanut butter balls (kinda like buckeyes Winking). Nate and Kathleen
brought over some really good cheese dip. The secret was red sauce mmmmmmm tasty.

Teriyaki Beef
Smoked Sausage
Hot Dogs
3 kinds of Cheetoes
Cheese Dip
Mix Veggies
Rice (wouldn't be a party without the rice)

Enjoy the tasty pics
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Yes there are a lot of leftovers. Will be eating meat for the next two weeks.

Motorcyle Show

Got to hang out with Bill, Nate, and his Dad, Greg, at the Cleveland motorcycle show. The show was cool and
packed. Everybody was fighting for a parking spots. There were a lot of design elements to take away from. It
was fun to see all different kinda of bikes. I even got to sit on a cool Harley V-Rod.

Enjoy the pics

Becka's final Christmas present came in today. I got her a Bath Blizzard. I saw it on an infomercial one night and
ordered it. Who knew they were in such high demand? They were on back order when I made my order. Oh well
better late than never. Not only did she get the Bath Blizzard she got the soap maker too. You can make fun
shapes and animal with soap, Ooooooooo.

-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Also did a quick mini-update to the Misc album. We ran into a Chinese New Year Lion dance, while shopping, soooo I had to take some pics Winking

Happy Chinese New Year!!!!

Happy Chinese New Year!

It's the Year of the Ox.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. You need to eat chicken on Chinese New Year.... hence I got some McNuggets.

Alicia BDay

We celebrated Alicia's BDay today. We kicked off the day with a big cookie cake Mmmmmm. Then we headed
over to Brasa, a Brazilian BBQ, for din din. It like your typical Brazilian BBQ, they just serve you tons and tons of
until you give up. Nate, Kathleen, and I made it through ALL 15 kinda of meat. Afterwards, we went to the Imporv
to get our laugh on. The comedian was HILLIAROUS. Will need to she her, next time she comes back to town.

Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Pre-Chinese New Year Dinner

We had our pre-Chinese New Year dinner tonight and boy were we stuffed. Good time hanging out with fam and
watchin Lebron make a buzzer beater shot to win the game over Golden State.

I create a general Chinese New Year Album to hold both sets of pics.

Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Can't wait for post-Chinese New Year dinner.
