Matt BDay with Skiing

Sooo Matt is in town for the holidays... what better way to rub it in that he's older than me, than to celebrate his BDay! We
all went up to Holiday Valley to ski. It was our first time this season and Matt's since ~6 years. We had a great time! The
slopes were pretty good and there weren't that many people.

After skiing, we hit up Ellicottville Brewery Company for some tasty dinner. Success! They still had their tuna wontons! It
turns out almost everything I ordered they were out of it :/ Oh well... there's always next time. Becka, Leah, and I treated
Matt to skiing and cool Disney calendar for his BDay/Christmas gift.

No broken bone = Successful Trip
Happy BDay Matt! Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Yes, that is a Tron t-shirt I have on.
p.p.s. And Yes, it does glow in the dark.

Epic Cavs Game!

Sooo Becka and I weathered the blizzard and headed out to the Cavs game early today. The roads were nasty. We made
it early and on our way to the Team Shop I was asked if I wanted to play the match game at the end of the first quarter.
We were told it would be on the jumbo-tron and that my friends could come down and watch. After filling out the
necessary paperwork and getting the special passes, Becka and I hit up the new Team Shop. It was AMAZING! It had
2 stories and tons of merchandise. Then we had to hit up B-Spot for a tasty bologna hamburger and some porky fries.
Mmmmm. Stephen met up with us there.

Shortly after the 1st quarter started, we all head down to the DJ area to get ready for the match game. Apparently, you
finish Boobie's (Daniel Gibson) phrase. For example he says, "Reach for the ____" and the choices were a) Stars,
b) Sky, c) Cookie, d) something else. I had to get 3 out of the 5 questions right to win a prize! Luckily Becka and
Stephen were by me helping me out. We got 3 correct right off the bat, so I didn't get to do the other 2. I got a Cavs
prize bag that had a lot of goodies in it, and the section I was playing for got free Lake Erie Monster tickets. Yay!

Towards the 4th quarter, we decided to head down to the lower bowl to snag some awesome seats. When we first got
down there, it was packed and no seats could be found. Luckily, Wilbur (Cavs usher) scoured for 3 open seats for us.
He hooked us up and we had AMAZING seat for the 4th quarter. Unfortunately, the Cavs lost again. It was at least a
close game.

Enjoy the Vid and Pics!

Sorry Been Super-Busy!

Had 1 full month of updates to do.

7th RSNA!

Yay made it through another long RSNA! Boy what a long week, quick run down with highlights below:

Friday(11-26): I got pat-down by old dude. Our plane took off 5 hours late. It took 2 planes and 3 boarding just to get to
Chicago. Luckily our 2nd deplane we all hit the bar. First day of setup went rather smoothly. We all got dinner at
Pegasus. Good Greek food, loved the lamb. To top off the night we hit a bar off Rush.

Saturday (11-27): Day 2 of setup, It was the OSU Michigan game. I made sure to pack my OSU gear for setup. We got
everything up an running for the show in no time. For dinner we went to Harry Caray's for some amazing meat. I got
bone-in-ribeye (which I can never turn down) worth every penny.. and it costed a lot of pennies Winking It melts in your mouth.
We chilled the rest of the night at the hotel bar with Codonics peeps.

Sunday (11-28): The first day of the show went off without a hitch. I started out the day with a run and my standard airborne
anvil cocktail Mmm. After the show we went to Sushi Naniwa obliterated our per diem again. The unfiltered sake and the
mochi ice cream is what put us over the top Winking Afterwards we met up with others at Mickey's (Ohio bar) for some drink.
RunKeeper Summary: 3.54 mile - Holiday Inn -> Willis (Sears) Tower -> Millennium Park -> Starbucks

Monday (11-29): The show was quite busy. Later we hit up Carmine's and then hit the Dublin Bar right across the street.
RunKeeper Summary: 3.43 mi run - Holiday Inn -> -> Magnificent Mile -> Handcock Building -> Starbucks

Tuesday (11-30): I went out to a customer dinner with Caesar and Mike at Flemings. The customer ran into something
and couldn't make it. I had bone in filet, which was sooo tender you could cut the meat with your fork. The whole night
Caesar kept on saying it was my birthday, soo they put a candle on our dessert and gave me a fancy box of chocolates.
I then met up with Brian a The English… long story short Me = Wing Man = Epic Fail.
RunKeeper Summary: 4.38 mi run - Holiday Inn -> Willis (Sears) Tower -> Millennium Park -> Handcock Building ->

Wednesday (12-01): I played Big Buck Hunter early in the morning with Mike. It was amazing! They also had a Tesla in
their booth too. I chilled with Randy and crew for something low key. I ended up driving the rental van. We had 3 gps
devices blaring and 4 different people telling me where to drive ALL while in Chicago traffic. You can image how much
fun a that was, but at least we made it Winking. We ended up picking Greg and hit up China Town. Ty recommended Emperor's
choice. It was amazing! I convinced people to try the peking duck. It was a first for a couple people and they were not
disappointed. Mmmm still thinking about the duck.
RunKeeper Summary: 0 mi run - wanted to rest before bigger run tomorrow.

Thursday (12-02): The show was pretty dead on Thursday. Tear down was really quick. I got to the airport and didn't get
pat down. I ate at the Chili's and then streamed the Cavs/Heat game on my Droid... requires flash... fail iPad.
RunKeeper Summary: 6.43 mi run - HolidayInn -> Willis(Sears)Tower -> MillenniumPark -> GrantPark -> Lost -> Navy
Pier -> Handcock Building -> Starbucks

Yay another RSNA is in the can! Can't wait for next year!

Early Christmas!

Matt was in town so we did an early Christmas for me. Everybody (Alicia, Bill, and Matt) got me and limited edition Halo
Reach Xbox360! Mmmmm. It even plays special Halo sound effects when I eject discs or power the system up. SWEET!
Sooo technically Casa de Seto is done with Christmas and it's not even December yet hahahaa.

Yay! Can't wait to transfer everything to the new box.... after I get back from Chicago :-\
-Garvin (^_^)

Martin BDay

Martin had a bowling party and some tasty dinner at Korea House. Must remember to hit that place up again. The
service was slow, but totally worth it... Mmmmm. We finished the night off with presents at Martin's house. We all got
him a new Xbox360 with Kinect.

Happy BDay Martin!
-Garvin (^_^)

4 BDay

We celebrated 4 BDays today. In one blast we did, Melinda, Becka, Teresa, and Gary's BDays. It took a little while to
sync up everybody's schedules. We ate at Macaroni Grille and dessert at Cold Stone.

-Garvin (^_^)

Last cook-out for the year (maybe)... soooo we got some sausages from Gibbs and powered up the Kinect. Everybody
was able to act a fool in front of everybody. Nate even mustarded enough courage to impress everybody with his Dance
Central skillz. We got four different kinds of sausages at Gibbs: Loaded Bake Potato (mashed potatoes, bacon,
cheddar, and green onions), Black & Bleu (Guiness beer, garlic, and crumbled bleu cheese), Caribbean Jerk, and
extra-garlic kielbasa. We also had teriaki beef, and chicken wings too.

Enjoy the tasty pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Happy Halloween!

Having our new snazzy sushi costumes, we had show them off to our neighbors. Sooo Leah, Becka, and I went
trick-or-treating in our little area. Our neighbors loved the costumes, but had no candy, 3 out of 4 houses gave us beer.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Happy Birthday Gary too!

Codonics Halloween

Sooo yesterday we decided we should dress up for the Codonics Halloween Costume Raffle. Unfortunately, that left us
little time to decide and make our costumes. However I did remember that I filed away a sushi baby costume back in the
day (link). We took the instructions and made adult sized versions. We started collecting supplies at Target, Bed Bath &
Beyond, and Jo-Ann Fabric at 8pm and wrapped up everything around 2am.

Our costumes came out pretty SWEET! It was nice that Glenn wasn't the only engineer that was dressed up this year.
After work Leah and I hit up Shinto (with our costumes), to get some carry-out. We got some weird looks hahahaa.

Enjoy the Tasty Pics
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. To get the aerial shot of us, I duct taped the camera to the ceiling of the kitchen.
p.p.s. If you didn't figure out the green pillow is supposed to be a ball of wasabi Winking

Mini-Update: Misc

Nuff Said... (Y_Y)

Becka BDay Part2

We celebrated Becka's birthday with some Kripy Kreme Doughnuts at Codonics today. In the evening we made tasty
sandwiches, and ate cake. Tonight was when Becka was able to open up the rest of her presents. Winking

Happy Birthday Becka
-Garvin (^_^)

Olmsted ClamBake

Everybody from the Landing of Timberlakes got together today to do a clambake. We got one of our neighbors to cook,
who happened to be a chef at a Cleveland hotel. The food was amazing and the weather turned out to be perfect. Leah
and I also whooped some butt in cornhole too. It was her first time and my second time playing it. Also, whoever made
dessert... rocked my world.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Becka BDay Party Part1

We started the day off with some ice skating at the Cleveland Hts. Rec. Center. We had a great time skating around.
Unfortunately the rink is only open for an hour and a half. I skated with Kyndra for a bit. She had a blast! She kept on
saying, "More.. more... more..." Luckily my hands were big enough to hold her and the walker Winking No one broke any
bones and we all walked away to skate another day.

We all had a great time working up an appetite. For dinner we hit up Buca di Beppo. We ordered a TON of Italian food.
Note to self... 4 small plates will feed a table of 9.5 people. After dinner, we went home for cake, presents, and an
episode of Kailan. For the BONUS ROUND... Alicia, Bill, Becka, and I went to Dunkin Donuts for a late night snack.

Yeah... goin fee it tomorrow... enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

We celebrated "In Between BDay" today. We combo-ed Pete and Becka's BDays tonight. We started the festivities with
a Ton of Indian food from India Garden... Yum! We then did presents and dessert. We capped off the night with an
episode of Castle

look up. Becka got me a fun card with a cute drawing on it. I got Becka a shiny heart card, a stuffed Keroppi, and the
Babies documentary.

Enjoy the "Sweet" pics

Arizona Trip/Wedding Part2

Mostly Becka's pics. Monday involved Hagan and Emily opening wedding presents. The rest of the week was hanging
out with AZ friends and eating... a lot.

enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Arizona Trip/Wedding Part1

Arizona was fun and HOT.

AZ Trip (in a nutshell):
Becka left one day early to help out with wedding stuff with Emily.

After a long day of work I booked it to Tucson Arizona. Hagan picked me up and we met up with Emily and Becka.
We ate at their favorite Greek restaurant.

Becka and Emily ran some late minute errands for the wedding today. It freed up time for me to do some work and put
my ironing talents to good use. I banged out 5 shirts and 2 pants like it was nobodies business. Becka help Emily get
ready, while the guys got ready at the courthouse. After the wedding we took pics around the courthouse. Before we
went to Hagan's parents' house for dinner, we stopped to decorate Emily and Hagan's bed with some rose petals and
tea lights. Dinner was great! Emily and Hagan's family is very inviting. We stuffed our faces with chicken and homemade
ice cream.

Today was a low key day... full of nonstop eating. Becka and I hung out with Jenna all day. We ate at the Good Egg
for bfast. After we were full, we went shopping. Then we ate at BTO for some yogurt. At Jenna's house we hung out, and
I got to ride Jenna's sister's ATV... VRoooooom! Then we went to El Guero Canelo, which was featured in Man V. Food (link).
Our goal was to eat a Sonoran Dog. Sonoran Dog = bacon-wrapped hot dog + soft Mexican roll + pinto beans + chopped
tomatoes + onions + jalapeno sauce + cheese + mayonnaise + ketchup + mustard. Then we visited Jenna's classroom. It
had tons of fun toys! We topped the night off with putt putt and gelato at Frost.

Today was all about the wedding reception. Lots of running around and lots of getting things together. Everything
came together real nice. I had to make some signs, so I turned to google and downloaded a wedding power point Winking Emily
surprised Hagan with a custom made Bender (from Futurama) cake. It turned out AWESOME! The food spread was
Mexican with the largest tub of guacamole EVER! Becka's maid of honor speech went well. Half way through the
reception, (running theory) a kid pulled the fire alarm, so everybody had to grab their tech and run out of the place. We
had to wait for the fire department to turn off the alarms. The silver lining was that it made for a good photo op with the fire
truck and the firemen. Then everyone danced the night away.

Did another work meeting and ate at In-N-Out Burger before I flew home.

-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Will update with part2 when Becka gets back.

Sofiya BDay

Becka and I sent Sofiya her super-cool-extra-bling present. We also used fun Japanese snacks as packing peanuts.

Happy Birthday Sofiya!
-Garvin (^_^)

Asian Mass

Sooo Martin invited everybody to a super Asian Mass. Apparently once a year, the Asian Catholic communities get together
to have a super-mass with little bits and pieces from each culture. Even Bishop Pilla attended! Afterwards, they is a feast of
all kinds of Asian foods mmmmm.

-Garvin (^_^)

Halo: Reach (Y_Y)

Bill, Matt, Nate and I took off Tuesday, so we could do the midnight launch of Halo: Reach. Actually, Matt took the ENTIRE
week off for Halo. We rocked 4 screens in the living room! Bill and I got the legendary editions, which were HUGE! We
had a great time gaming the night away. We successfully polished off the game by 8ish, so we had plenty of time for the
traditional McDonald's BFast Mmmmmm.

Enjoy the nerdy pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. And Nate didn't press any buttons to skip the ending cinematic. Winking

Zara and Glenn Baby Shower

Yay! Went to Zara and Glenn's Babdy Shower! We got to play a baby guessing game and have Awesome cupcakes. The

Megan and Troy's CLE Vacation

Megan and Troy are on holiday and are traveling to USA (San Francisco, Chicago, Cleveland, NYC, Vegas) from Australia.
We hosted the Cleveland leg of their uber vacation. We had a GREAT time hanging out and relaxing with them.

Quick Recap:
2010-09-03: Becka and I picked up MEgan and Troy from the airport after work. We quickly hit up the Rock and Roll Hall
of Fame. Troy had been attending Jiu-Jitsu classes in each city they had been visiting, so we headed to the east-side for
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. We found a new bar that had amazing food. We ended the day with some Malley's ice cream. Mmmmmm
2010-09-04: Today we had a full day with plenty of walking. We got a snack at Light Bistro in Tremont. Then we hit the
MetroPark Zoo. Leah lost phone at some point. Then we got our shop on at Beechwood Mall. Troy got some Air Jordans,
which are like 50% cheaper than the shoes in Australia. Megan got some come cool clothes at Express. For dinner we
went to Ho-Wah next door. As usual Mama and Dad made way too much food. Being completely stuff did not deter us
from conquering the Ultimate Sundae. Yes, if you are keeping track that would be twice in less than 24 hours.
2010-09-06: On their last day in Cleveland we took them to Giant Eagle to get some candy and treats. After that we took
a quick peek at Dick's sporting goods and then off to the airport Sad

Enjoy the Albums... I've split the pics from Megan and my camera.
-Garvin (^_^)

Codonics BBQ

Yay! We went to Casa de Edwards today and have a fun filled Codonics BBQ/pool party! Even the rain and the thunder
didn't stop the party. Becka and I brought some potstickers, and veggie plates.

Yay Did a surprised Mama BDay party while most of the fam was in Columbus this Saturday. We had a GREAT time at
the Ohio State Fair. There was soo much deep fried stuff: buckeyes, mac n cheese, oreos, twinkies just to name a few. I
even got to go down the potato sack slide once. At one point we split up from Mama, se we decided to take a cheesy
picture and made an iron poster.

After the fair we went back to Teresa and Gary's to play a board game. Yeah the guys won. The next time the girls
should bone up on Ms. Pac Man and The Incredible Hulk.... long story. Mama enjoyed all her presents and dinner...
up until she couldn't pay the bill. LOL!

Enjoy the the gut busting pics

Mini-Update-A-Palooza: Misc, House, Matt weekend, Codonics, Donna Sue Bday, Leah Bike

Sorry for the lack of updates... probably playing too much StarCraft2 Sad Well you know the drill.

got our game on... 5 LCDs and 1 baby.

in my future.

Mini-Update-A-Palooza: Jenna Misc, Boo-LeBron, Kitty, Codonics Ice Cream, Pig Roast

Hi Gang

Tooo bummed out about LeBron to do a proper update. Soooo I'll just do a quick mini-update-a-palooza.

2010-07-07 Jenna Misc Album: Went to Schnitzel Haus and had awesome Germany food. Then hit up East Coast Custard.
2010-07-08 Codonics Ice Cream Social Album: To beat the heat Gary K bought everybody in engineering ice cream... Mmmm.
2010-07-09 Boo-LeBron Album: Lebron announce he is leaving for Miami and all of Cleveland implodes. Created a quick
album with all the sad pics from CLE. Just my quick 2 second rant... What gets me most is they way LeBron did it. I understand
it's a business and he can take his game where ever he so chooses.... but you don't have to have a 1 hour special on yourself
and dump Cleveland for the whole nation/world to see. It was totally mismanaged from a PR stand point. At least I will no
longer undecided when LeBron and Kobe play
2010-07-09 Built-A-Kitty Album: Took Becka to Build-A-Bear so she can make her Hawaiin Hello Kitty.
2010-07-10 Pig Roast Album: Got invited to pig roast. Ate lots of piggy. Tooo stuffed.

Enjoy the Albums

Prog(ressive Field). The weather was nice. This was the first time we got the AMPM All you can Eat tickets. You get to
eat all the popcorn, hotdogs, nachos, and peanuts you can stomach. Mmmmmm. In the end we put away 5 hotdogs,
2 nachos, 2 cups of peanuts, and 3 cups of popcorn. Unfortunately, the Indians lost (again). We had the PERFECT
seats for the fireworks show! My favs are the loud little ones that make a boom noise.

Lake Erie Crushers Game

Sooo the local minor league team offered Lebron a max contract for a month for Lebron night. They gave out 1000 free
tshirts. We (Jenna, Becka, and I) met up with Ashley, Chris, and Alicia to take in the game. Boy did we get our money's
worth. It went all the way to the 12th inning. Half the gang bailed out around the10th inning. Unfortunately the Crushers got
crushed. Oh well. We all had good time relaxing and eating snacks.

Enjoy the pics

Happy Father's Day!
-Garvin (^_^)

Pittsburgh Anniversary Part 6!

YAY! for anniversaries. It's that time again kiddies. Becka and I made our yearly pilgrimage to Pittsburgh for our
anniversary. On the way there we stopped off at the Grove City Prime Outlet mall, so Becka could check out the Juicy
store. The drive was ok... excluding the monsoon that hit us on the way to the outlet mall and the 15 minute wait to
cross the Liberty Bridge.

The view from the restaraunt was cloudy but spectacular. The food was fresh and AMAZING as usual. Becka had the
ahi tuna, and I had stuffed jumbo sea scallops. What were they stuffed with you might ask yourself... crab cake of course.
Mmmmm. Surprisingly what stole the show was their new dessert. It was called an Oreo lollipop. It consisted of a ball
of chocolate mousse, dipped in chocolate, and rolled in Oreo cookies... oh yeah there was creamy gooey caramel in the
center too. WOW!

When we got back home, we swung by the McDonald's to have a nightcap Winking which consisted of a sweat tea and a
small fry.

Happy 6th Anniversary!
-Garvin (^_^)

HoWah Day

Today we went to Dad's place so Mama S. could get some Chinese food and see mom and dad. The food was top-notch
as usual. We had soup with shrimp chips, steak, duck, fish, bbq pork, and coconut shrimp. We had a good time stuffing
out faces with Chinese food. Afterwards, we hit up Nordstrom Rack to shop off the calories.

I've tucked all the pics in the "HoWah and More" Album. There you will find a couple pics of us at #1Pho as well.

Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

Lotlia Birthday Party

After work we went to Lolita for Mama S's BDay. We all had a great time there. The food again was AMAZING!
Everyone got the roast pig special. This time is was piggy with some beans, spicy sausage, and a little crispy skin to
top it off. It was sooooo good. I know I'll be dreaming about it later. For dessert we had a grab bag of tasty treats.
They had really good Guinness gelato.

Enjoy the tasty Pics.... Happy BDay Mama S.
-Garvin (^_^)

Berea Rib Fest

Yay Mama S., Leah, and Becka made potato pancakes and blueberry pancakes this morning. Bfast was rounded off
with some sausage from Gibb's Butcher Block Mmmmm.

Later in the day I met up with Teresa, Gary and Mama to hit up the Berea Rib Cookoff. We got half slabs from Texas Pit,
Smokin' T's, and Armadillo's. After we stuffed our faces with meat and corn, we found the only place that sold jumbo beef
ribs. Note to self... Desperado's is where we need to start the rib fest next year. We also won 6 fishes at the ping pong
game tent. Mama, Gary, and I used to do that ALL the time back in the day.

Ugg all meat-ed out. Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Cle Art Musuem + Little Italy

Fun fun. Took Mama S to the Cle Art Museum. It's been around 7 years since I've been to the Art Museum. I used to do
a lot of studying and drawing there. Luckily for us since they are renovating the entire museum admission was FREE.
The didn't have all their exhibits open, but it was good to to walk around. They had some good pieces (Monet, Warhol,
and Rodin Mmmmm).

After taking in the exhibits, we when to Little Italy to eat and buy some snacks. We ate at Trattoria's and then got snacks
at Corbo's Bakery.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Mama S Market Day

Mama Shaffer is in town for the WHOLE week. We went to the West Side Market today to take in the sites and pick up a
couple of things. The weather was AMAZING! When we got there, we parked next to a fresh new BENTLEY! We saw
tons of tasty food. We even picked up some flowers for Mama S's room. After we dropped off our stuff we hit up Gibb's
Butcher Block for their weekly sausage sampling. They have a ton of good/unique sausages there.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. You might also noticed I have primed some empty photo albums under May.... they'll get filled with fun pics later in
the week.

Mike BDay!

Yay! Today is Mike's BDay. We (Becka and I) got him an Uber-Limited-Edition Canon thermos that looks like a Canon
lens. Apparently, only a few hundred were made for a Canon press-release at the last winter Olympics. Regardless, it
looks Super-Cool! Also, he got a cool 3rd Gen Ambient Weather Clock with color changing dial.

Happy Birthday Mike!
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Wahoo! Another friend in the 29 club.

7 Year Anniversary!

Feeling old today. The guys surprised be with some cupcakes for my 7 year anniversary at Codonics. Ugg... I think I'm
one of the "old guys" now :-\

LOL! Yay for more anniversaries!
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Yes that would be a ninja turtle on my notepad.

Day of Food Festivals

Apparently Saturday was the day to hold food festivals

Round 1
We (Melinda, Tony, Alicia, Bill, Becka, and I) met up at Paramatown Mall for the Pierogi Festival. We ate pretty much
something from each stand. A couple highlights:
+Hotdog pierogi combo… don't knock it till you try it.
  +Baked chicken pierogi.
+Eating giant pierogi at the end of the round.

Round 2
After we were full, we went to the first annual Asian Festival in Chinatown. We met up with Martin, Jackie, Kelvin, and
Mama. The turnout was a lot better than I thought and it was well organized. Most Asian cultures were accounted for:
Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Polynesian. A couple highlights:
  +All the Asian food.
+Sumo wrestling with Bill and me.
+Tony destroying kid's dad in sumo.
  +More food.
  +Korean martial arts demo.
  +Eggroll eating contest.
+Awesome henna artist. Becka got something done on her hand.
  +I bought a super-cool ramen pin.

Bonus Round
Since we were in the neighborhood we hit up Greenhouse Tavern for some dinner. Of course I HAD to order the animal
style fries (reference previous post for why the fries are so awesome).

But wait there's more Round
We hit up Parmatown Mall to get our cars and some dessert, which consisted of Mallie's, Orange Julius, and Dairy Queen.
Afterwards we topped off the night with Shrek 2.

Defineitly a loooong day. The belly is really full and happy.

p.s. Over 5000 people showed up... even the Cleveland Mayor made an appearance. The Sunday Plain Dealer ran an
article on the event (link).

Cavs Playoff Game

Becka and I went to the CAVS play off game tonight. We bought the tix from Ross. The seats were good. The CAVS were
a bit shaky to start but they came through in the end. Afterwards, we me up with Stephen and had some amazing snacks at

Codonics Coop Award

Alan and I carpooled it down to Columbus to attend an award ceremony for Codonics. Apparently we won an award for our
co-op program. The award ceremony was at The Blackwell. The food was good. After we got the award, we hit up the
nearest Panera to get some wifi and do some work. Afterwards, I met up wtih Gary, Teresa, Lisa, and Joe for some dinner.

Yay Go Codonics

Codonics BLIZZARD Day

Gary saw that there were a couple more days left in Dairy Queen's buy 1 BLIZZARD get the second one for 25 cents deal
and figured it was time for another Codonics ice cream day. So I packed up the coolers and organized a BLIZZARD day
for all of engineering. I placed over a 20 item order. We had a good time taking a minibreak.

Mmmm Ice Cream... Updated the Codonics Album

Mike Lustig BDay

Bill BDay Party

We all got together today to celebrate Bill's BDay today. We met in the afternoon to go bowling and chill out. It ended up that
it would be cheaper to just rent out two lanes and get pizza and pop included. It was nice the place had the handicap bowling
ramps for the kiddies. We all had a good time bowling it out. It did get competitive towards the middle. Nate even started
looking up tips and techniques on his iPhone hehehee.

After bowling we headed home to do cake and presents. The cake was Pittsburgh Penguin themed. We got Bill some Batman
stuff, Halo Mega Blocks, and a new Xbox360 HD. After we were done with cake we chilled out with the iPad, and the Mega

The explain the stripper envelope. There was talk to take BIll to a strip club, but it fell through... hence the stripper drawing, and
a wrinkle dollar bill in the envelope.

Mini-Blog: Home Sweet Home

Pretty low key today. Made sure to run to Excalibur for some sweet sweet redemption... Gary will know what I'm talking about.
It's been a year in the making hehehee. I had some extra time when I go back, so I played some more roulette and blackjack.
I won around $100. We hit Caesar's and Fry's Electronics before we left for home. The flight was pretty uneventful. Got a
couple drawings done and lots of Mr. Driller action on the DSi.

Enjoy the pics. Good to be back home.
-Garvin (^_^)

Mini-Blog: Run, Run, Run

Quick blog before I start packing. I went for a quick run yesterday. Made it to the Mirage and played some roulette. I won
$230! Wahoo! Made sure to hit the Bellagio to walk around. They were working on the conservatory and using tons of
flowers to make a new spring installation. It was very colorful and smelled wonderful.

Did a lot of walking at the show yesterday again. Pretty much a lot of walking and talking from 8-8 yesterday. At least
I'm getting some exercise. After our last meeting Gary took me to an All-You-Can-Eat Sushi place right off the strip. The
place was nice. Ending the day off with mochi. Mmmmmm.

Ok time to pack. Enjoy the update.
-Garvin (^_^)

Mini-Blog: Walk, Walk, Walk

Science Center and the Hubble IMAX Movie

Hi Gang

Went up to the Great Lakes Science Center to hit up the Hubble IMAX Movie. Since we were going to be at GLSC for the
IMAX, Bill, Becka, and I went their early to hit up the exhibits and geek out. The exhibits were fun, but they had one level
closed for renovations. They had a new section sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic. The Hubble movie was really good.
Ian even thought we were going in space hehehee. After the movie we went to Fat Fish Blue to have dinner. The food was
good, but really really slow hehehee. Mmmmmm corn bread.

Enjoy all the geeky pics in the Science Center Album

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Early this morning, I got Leah and Becka's Easter treats ready before I left for the east-side to hit up church
with mama. The girls enjoyed their presents. The stuffed animals are 100% organic... even the dye that is used for the
color. Becka and I didn't plan it out to have Rocky have bunny ears. It was a complete coincidence that I cut bunny ears
out this morning thinking it would be cute and she drew Rocky with bunny ears in my Easter card last night. LOL!

Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. I got the colorful serving tray that Rocky is in from Target. Winking

Jackie BDay Party!

Yay! We celebrated Jackie's BDay today. Unfortunately, Becka was sick and Leah had to work... so it was me manning the
festivities for 6 hyper-energetic 9-year-old girls. We kicked off the PARTY with an iCarly word find, while i set up an Easter
egg hunt. The first 4 girls that finished the word search got prizes from the prize bag. After the word search, I had the girls
split in to 2 teams. They had 10 minutes to find as many eggs as possible. The team with the most eggs wins prizes from
the prize bag. IT took them no more than 2 mintues to find everything. Next time... I'll hide then in bigger places. After the
games we had KFC, pizza, and cake! Mmmmmm. After the cake, it was pretty much on auto-pilot. They did presents,
played little games, and watched tv.

Happy Birthday Jackie!
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Yes there was hot sauce for the KFC...Mmmmmm
p.p.s. and Yes again... I was eating KFC during all the games.

We got to Tremont early, so we (Leah, Becka, and I) went to Lilly, a homemade chocolate store. They had all kinds of
chocolates with bacon, lime, etc in them. It was pretty expensive per chocolate, but very good. Every once in a while it's
all good, but could become a costly habit Winking Also they specialized in drinking chocolate. Oh boy was that good. Becka
says, "It is the best drinking chocolate in the world".

So after satisfying our sweet tooth we met up with everybody (Alicia, Kathleen, Nate) at Lolita. Lolita is Iron Chef Michael
Symon's other restaurant. In fact, in the beginning Lolita was Lola before Michael became famous. The reason for dinner
on Tuesday is because Lolita does a pig roast on Tuesdays.... "while supplies last." We ordered the last 6 orders of the
pulled pork and it was good. Also... as a quick sidenote, the bone marrow is way better at Lolita than the bone marrow at
Lola. At Lola, the marrow is fried and comes in a small quantity. At Lolita, the marrow is still in the bone with some tasty
spices on top.

We had a good time. We'll be back. Enjoy the pics!
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. The panorama is from Lilly.

Leah BDay Party!

YAY! Leah's Birthday Party! We hit the Metropark Zoo in the afternoon and saw a whole bunch of cool animals. My favs
were the red panada, and the baby black kangaroo. We did manage to take a group pick in front of a sleeping koala.
Afterwards we came home, ate wings, and made personal pizzas. We had tons O fun making and decorating our own
pizzas. Then we watched Toy Story 1 and 2 on blu ray in preparation for this summer's release of Toy Story 3! We got Leah
a cool Moo-Cow Cake from Dairy Queen.

Enjoy the fun filled pictures.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. My pizza had a cheese crust and topped with tons of meat and mushrooms in a flower pattern Winking
p.p.s. If you look closely in our group pic you can see the napping koala bear.

Leah BDay Family Dinner

Yay for family! We met some Codonics people at the Velvet Tango Room for some pregaming for family dinner. The place
was nice, but the service was definitely slow. After some fancy drinks we went to Light Bistro. The food was tasty and the
tapas were amazing. My fav was the ox tail tapa... mmmmmm.

-Garvin (^_^)

Cheeseburger Cake

Sooo I made the mistake of saying "It can't be to hard to make a cheeseburger cake..." Leah sent out an email with a cool
cheeseburger cake from Whole Foods. Unfortunately, they don't make it at every Whole Foods. I got my supplies to JoAnne
Fabrics and sent the evening making a cheeseburger cake. It came out pretty good. It's made of 3 marble cakes and

Ski Weekend

Day1 (Mar-7th):
We took Monday off to do a nice ski weekend. Bill and I shoved off early Sunday morning to hit Holiday Valley in Ellicotville.
The skiing was pretty good and there weren't that many people there. We hit pretty much every trail, including the glades
and a terrain park. After skiing we heading into town and hit up the local brewery, EBC. The tuna wontons were AMAZING.
We brought in our ski passes to get 10 Seneca dollars at the casino.

Day2 (Mar-8th):
We started Monday at Dina's, an awesome bfast place. Then we skied Holimont. Holimont is closed to the public on the
weekends, but since we took the day off we could do Holimont. It was pretty dead, which rocked! After skiing, we went back
to EBC for dinner. After dinner we went back to the casino to get our 10 bucks for the day.

Enjoy the pics
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Yes if you noticed from the pics... I did get new Oakley sunglasses. Winking jk... The hair went to Pantene Beautiful Lengths (link).
They make wigs for cancer patients.

Igloo Project

On the way home from sushi Leah and I stopped off at Target to get a couple desk organizers for snow bricks and a garden
spade for digging. We are 90% done with our igloo. It's about 6.5ft in diameter. We have the top to finish. It took us around
6 hours to get where we are now. Almost....

Enjoy the pics.
-Garvin (^_^)

p.s. Will update the album when we finish the topper.

Sushi Rolling Class

Ok last BDay celebration for me this year. We had a sushi rolling class at our (Becka and me) favorite sushi place. We
lucked out. The guy teaching the class is the guy that always prepares our sushi when Becka and I stop in. Todd (sushi
guy) hooks us up with a lot for sushi. We rolled +28 ROLLS! Needless to say we didn't even dent all those rolls Winking

Enjoy the tasty pics
-Garvin (^_^)

Cleveland Car Show

Yay! Went to the Cleveland Car Show with Alicia, Nate, and Bill today. Got to see a lot of new shiny toys. Finally got to sit
in a CTS wagon... and it was wagon-tastic. We had a good time cramming ourselves in to a lot of cars. I got to rock my
cool Caddie shirt and Mo Williams was there signing autographs. Unfortunately, there was no Chevy Volt Sad

Enjoy the shiny pics.
